Meet Jenna Turnipseed

Jenna Turnipseed is a proven problem-solver ready to fight for the people of Northwest Georgia.

With 22 years of service, she’s balanced government budgets, managed multi-million-dollar operations, and knows the challenges of starting a farm and small business under burdensome regulations. Jenna has seen firsthand how government overreach and inflation strain working families.

She’s running for Congress to protect our communities, support local agriculture and small business, and ensure every child has a real path to success.
Jenna Turnipseed is a 22-year U.S. Army veteran, former Jumpmaster, and graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. She is also a wife, mother of four, grandmother, and proud resident of Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.

Raised on service and shaped by real-world experience, Jenna began her military journey as a wheel vehicle mechanic and worked her way up—earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business, commissioning as a logistics officer, and later completing a Master of Arts in Military Studies and a Master’s in Operations. She deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, learned what real leadership looks like, and saw firsthand how government decisions impact families, soldiers, and communities.

During her career, Jenna developed deep expertise in logistics, acquisitions, and government contracting. She understands how federal dollars are spent, where waste happens, and how smart oversight can strengthen national security while protecting taxpayers. Her final role as Executive Officer of the 52nd Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Group solidified her belief in accountability, readiness, and supporting the people who do the hard work.

After retiring from the Army, Jenna chose to build her family’s future in Northwest Georgia. She now helps run Chickamauga Creek Farms, using sustainable, innovative practices to grow high-quality produce year-round and contribute to the local food economy. She also serves as a High School JROTC instructor, mentoring young people to develop responsibility, confidence, and a commitment to service.

At her core, Jenna believes in faith, family, hard work, and community. She is dedicated to strengthening local agriculture, supporting small businesses, improving opportunities for rural families, and ensuring government works for—not against—the people of Georgia’s 14th District. Whether on the farm, in the classroom, or standing up for her community, Jenna leads with integrity, common sense, and a deep respect for the values that make Georgia strong.
